Carole.. Thank you so much for stopping by. Yes Steve Mesquite grew up in Castro Valley and did go to Earl Warren with you.He was in Tower of Power as well.
Years later he had a son that he named Steve. Thats me! I am Steve's son. He now goes by Skip : )

Did Steve Mesquite grow up in Castro Valley, Ca.? If so, I went to Jr. High with him at Earl Warren Jr. High. I've heard rumors through the years that he played with Tower of Power. His photo doesn't look like the same Steve I remember in Jr. High. The Steve I knew had dark hair, dark eyes. Your reply appreciated.

It's only a matter of time, and believe me,people everywhere are going to appreciate the top notch caliber of music you guys are kicking out! I play your c.d. often(with some volume I might add) when I'm around public groups of people,and it never seizes to amaze me how many times I have been asked "Who are those guys"? I always get a kick out of saying "Those are some BAD CATS huh".I've been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to meet the band members individually,some on more than one occasion,and can honestly say that everyone in this "A-List" group of musicians are all very genuine people.Keep pushing the Envelope Guys,your end result will be nothing short of OUTSTANDING!

Thanks for asking Bob. Jules had two cervical surgeries this year and has not been able to play guitar with the band. We all miss him and are wishing him a swift recovery.
